Hello,
You may want to make sure your pcv system is up to snuff. That area for a leak is often the rear main crank seal. It could be the gable plate too but either way you would have to pull the transmission to repair. The gable plate is the rear aluminum engine plate that holds the rear main. I am not sure from the picture if you have manual or auto transmission. But I am thinking that tube is the auto dipstick. If you pull the rubber plug at the bottom of the transmission you can see if oil comes out. Or you can pull the metal cover and see if the engine side of the flex plate is oil soaked. If either shows a fair amount of oil it is most likely one of those pieces. Only problem if it is the gable plate you should pull the pan too. A few times I have see the gable plate cracked when someone put the wrong bolt in one of the oil pan bolts at that end. Good Luck, Bernie
