I like these General AS-05s, through Tire Rack. These are Asymmetrical and don't suffer the cupping issues (on rears, overloaded cars) that the AS-3s (Directional) had. The sidewall is less stiff and so the turn in is less vigorous, but they're quieter over the longer life of the tire and seem to get better fuel mileage.
If you have stock wheels on that '08, consider using a 225 x 45 x 17. I'll swap wheels/tires from my '01 or '04s, onto the '06 (same chassis as yours) and handling is great - better gas mileage as well.
To me, the #1 advantage of the beefier 235s is, if your roads are filled with potholes. I tend to be well south of PA and MD most of the time now - I sure don't miss those winter damaged pavements and I won't be buying any more 235s unless we start spending more winters up that way.
