Hello,
I didn't think that Saab used any vacuum lines to the check valves on the SAI. But might want to check that the one way check valve is on the correct hose and installed the correct direction. But thinking of that maybe he is seeing the vacuum lines to the control for the turbo bypass valve it is about the same as the valve on the coolant bypass valve. If you search 9-5 vacuum line diagrams on this site look at Scott's post and it has a good picture and shows the orientation of the vacuum lines to the bypass valves. As far as removing or bypassing the SAI it should set a check engine light. If it is the turbo bypass valve controller bypassing it will set a check engine light also and it is not good for the car. Good Luck, Bernie
