Hmm. I just had a talk with our indy. Last week my kid told me that the oil icon was coming on when she went around a sharp curve - been there, had that on all of our Saabs at some point.
I topped the oil off - there was no oil on the dipstick when I checked. She drove the car another 40 miles or so and then in to the indy's shop. He reported no oil on the diptick, and that the leak I saw (on the driveway, same as yours) was "seeping" from the head gasket as far as he could tell.
I'm inclined to just fix it at this point - that's more than just a few drops of oil in a short period of time. We bought the car from the same indy, and he knows it never had any major problems like overheating during the years that he worked on it for its previous owner. So I guess we'll roll the dice on the head not being badly warped.
Make sense?
