of which I am the second owner? I bought the car in January of this year with 33K miles. It now has 42K miles and is still under factory warranty. The car is a 1999 9-5 2.3 automatic SE model.
The car has had a surging or stumbling problem virtually from the time I bought it. At a stop with the transmission in drive the engine stumbles and surges. It also exhibits some surging behavior driving down the highway. It has now progressed to the point that it is virtually not driveable.
Since May I have had it in 5 times for the same problem and each time a part(s) have been replaced with no effect. The car has now been in the shop since Monday of last week (7/29) where they have supposedly had to pull the engine to replace some components. I am supposed to get it back this Friday. I've lost all confidence with the dealer and with the car. My questions is...what options do I have? Whom should I contact at Saab to discuss this with? Would I have a legitimate "Lemon Law" claim if this can't be fixed? I apologize for venting. Any advice would be appreciated.
