If you search the board you will find a number of posts from users who have bought from places like AliExpress. As far as I understand it, the unit is a pretty standard GM diagnostic tool with interchangeable cards that must also be purchased to cover Saab vs GM, etc. Note however that with great power comes great responsibility — stumbling around using a Tech2 without knowing how to use it can result in inadvertently altering settings with unexpected and irreversible consequences.

There is also a Buddy Directlry on the site where you might find someone with a Tech2 willing to help you
While I know that you were told there is a key turn/button sequence, there isn’t as I and others have noted. What worked in the past for you was the fact that you had to push the unlock buttons a few times in succession in range of the car as part of your sequence. If you haven’t tried just standing next to the car and pushing the button, please do so.
