You have a broken green roller. Order a set: https://www.esaabparts.com/saab/parts/4493433
You'll need to remove the door panel. go slowly. As you say, the plastic trim can be quite brittle.
Once removed, check inside the door, at the very bottom for. If there is a rubber guide down there get and glue it back in. (if your door has been rattling when the window is down, that's why)
you'll find at least one roller is broken, and the other is either broken, or it will disintegrate when you try to remove it.
Use channel lock pliers to press the new rollers on. Squeeze until it clicks ... then squeeze again for the second click. Without the second click the roller will fall off in about a week. Im sure there are step by step writeup on this site, and probably a youtube vid or two out there.
