tested in what way? no-load voltage test? Load test? Full blown capacity test?
a 2 year old battery is not new. And if it is being run down, then trickle charged back up, it is fur sure being damaged and it's life is already drastically reduced.
I think the next step is to either replace the battery, or have a legit load test done.
> Had the car for a week and told me that they couldn’t find the source of the drain.
did they confirm that there was a drain, but could not identify it? or did they say that there was no drain that they could measure?
Would they take it back and have another look? Did they hook up an ammeter and amp-counter or oscilloscope to record the actual draw on the battery over the course of days?

yes it happened to me. In my case it was a failing alternator and as Fred mentioned the battery was draining through the field wire. The alternator would still charge while running, but the field was always energized and it was draining the battery.
