One other area to check is the seam of the rear quarter panel and the roof. On my 2000 9-5, the sealer putty used in the joint and painted over shrank and cracked allowing rain to enter the car in the passenger rear seat well. Since I need to get new paint on the car, I used a clear silicone rubber caulk to seal the leak. Later it can be removed when the sealer is renewed before repainting.
If the rear drains from the sunroof are clogged, you can clear them manually, something the owner’s manuals do not mention. They exit behind the rear wheel wells from the sheet metal body. They are slit rubber tubes they look solid, but if you squeeze them, will open all allow water and debris to drain out. I posted a pic of them a while ago, so my msg should pop up with a search on sunroof drains. I think the tubes are slit to allow water to drain (if no debris) and keep insects from entering them.
I added a link to a previous post on this subject.
