PIAA Super Silicone 22"

Part # 95055

I have had these on all 3 of my 9-5's. They are quiet down to about -20 Fahrenheit, at which point they struggle with the ice on the windshield. My rubber ones would start to chatter around 35-40 degrees and were completely useless below 30 degrees.

This spring I noticed my current ones were deteriorating in their effectiveness after about 6 years and 120K miles, so I swapped them out this morning with the same PIAA blades. The packaging says they have a replaceable insert but I never looked into that.

Use the C4 adapter, I seem to remember the one they recommend is not the correct one for our cars.

95055 fits the standard J-hook style on the pre-06 cars. I tried the PIAA silicone beam style ones for my 2008 but they use some sort of universal adapter which lifts the wiper arm 1/2" or so away from the glass which I found bothered me when I looked at it, so I bought some J-hook wiper arms off ebay and switched them out- yes they are interchangeable.
