Hello,
I would really check out the MAF. Remember in a T7 car that the turbo gauge is just a reading based on the MAF reading. Even though there are pressure sensors on the Turbo piping and the intake manifold they are not used for the gauge. I low gauge may be a MAF reading low and if it is low enough it could burn up a piston. I have had 2 customer cars do that this year. If you have a Tech 2 you can watch the pressure sensors and see if it is making more boost than the car is showing to verify the issue. But on the other hand MAF's are pretty reasonably priced and thus cheap insurance for your engine. Good Luck, Bernie
