I think the first sentence suffers a bit from the translation from Swedish (I guess). I suppose they meant to say, this change adapts the shifting points to the *current* operation or performance of the car. The last sentence, SPORT seems to really jump at all throttle levels for me, I'll have to do a little experimenting later on. :-)
