Glad to hear that you have had good luck with the EBC pads, as I had them installed on my 02 Aero this morning. My last two Saabs both went well over 100K miles with no rotor wear or warping, and about half the original pad thickness remaining.
Coolknight is suggesting that Saab has a wear or reliability problem? Look at any of his previous posts that describe his car and driving habits, and you would wonder if his brakes could last a week! He makes driving a street production car sound like a qualifying lap at Monaco!
Sorry Mr. Coolknight, your brake wear is in no way related to the equipment. Lighten up on both the left and right foot, and the equipment will last a lot longer.
