Lease loyalty ongoing, but there are issues...... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Thu, 22 Aug 2002 17:16:47 In Reply to: SAAB Lease Loyalty, jdj, Thu, 22 Aug 2002 00:23:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Your post raises some interesting issues. Lease loyalty is "ongoing" according to Saab. Saab Financial will waive a security deposit for any well qualified (700+ FICO score). Lease loyalty might expire 90 days after you no longer lease your car as your dealer says. The language says current lessee's, so how long from May when you turned you car in are you a current lessee? If you have a certificate I'd examine it carefully for an expiration date. A Saab dealer may apply for "loyalty" without a certificate, but again, when are you not a "current" lessee? I'm sure it's not an indefinite thing and usually the manufacturer is fairly strict about the terms of special offers like Lease loyalty.
Why wait for 2003? Take advantage of the current killer deals. You didn't say which 9-5 your interested in. Changes are pretty minor, Sentronic shift buttons, touring package on Linear, vented sport seats, major revisions were 2002.
