I have a feeling you are not going to get very far. Pretty much every part of a car is a wearing part in some form or fashion. The initial warranty is there to weed out flaws in manufacturing. There are many factors in why things break and many are out of Saab's control. How often the fluid is changed or even something as simple as dropping a bit of aluminum from the foil off the brake fluid container can cause devastating failures.
Yes Saab will call the dealer and the dealer will answer their questions and they will reply to you but unless you are a great customer who buys a new car every year or two and is scrupulous in maintaining them I wouldn't expect much in terms of financial compensation.
All of that said I would suggest that you start looking for used parts. there is a place in Centuria Wisconsin called Strandbergs's Auto that will have them also Goldwing who I believe is site sponsor.
