if you go to bimmer.org, people are constantly taking advantage of this great program. Sorry you couldn't find a dealer willing to lift a finger.

Here are some things to keep in mind about ED (sorry, Bob Dole): in Europe, a 9-5 is a big car! There are going to be many times when the street/rue/alley you find yourself in is only microns wider than the car, and in some carparks you may not be able to find a space long enough. Will you be comfortable driving your brand-new car around Europe? I drove a Ford Fiesta around France and Italy and there were times I almost got stuck, and that is a small car.

And also remember that once you drop it off for shipment, you won't see it for many weeks. How many? Better ask the Saab people. You could be without your new car for a month or two, which means renting something or carpooling.
