Look at this links... it's about the relaibility problems of the 2.7T engine. I like the audi, for my the best engine is the 2.7T but i listen many things about the poor relianility of the engine I'm a little deceptioned about it. For me I preffer the power of the saab, isn't smoothness than the audi. but... the saab has more elasticity, the audi at low revs isn't as good as the saab, the saab has a better response better performance and a better balanced suspension, the audi are more soft but has the quattro system this one of his strong points. I have a spanish comparison test between the Aero SW(230hp) and the A6 2.7T Q(230hp) the saab is more sportier, only a defect is a little torque steer bettwen corners when you push hard the accel. In performance the saab are faster and also in consumption. 0-100 saab needs 7,2s and the audi 7,9s in 80-120 in 4th the saab only needs 6,1s and the audi needs 7,4s(the audi has 6 speed gearbox).

If you buy he audi you will have a good car, with quattro system, good engine, comfortable and smoothness. If you buy the saab you will buy a car with a more sport feeling,a very good car to do long travels... the 250hp version is more smoothness, a better chassis than the last version and a incredible engine capable to overtake faster than a porsche 911.

You decide, the two cars are very good. In the general bulletin i put a message about the new changes of the 2003 9-5. Sentronic gearbox, new GPS....

Bye and good luck
