I looked at the Taurus wagon. It was actually pretty nice and if I was spending my own money I would have opted for the Taurus. Since I'm a traveling Salesman my monthly expense allowance covers about 800 bucks a month. i opted for the AERO Wagon. (By the way, $800 sounds like alot but after adding the car payment, insurance, fuel, and maintenace it ends up at about a break even for me.). Other Salesman at my company got the Taurus and put the savings in their pocket.
For something like 23-24K the Taurus gives you a V6, leather, every option you can think of and it has pretty good power (enough for a travelling salesman anyway). The one thing I was unsure about is reliability.
