Hey Brad,
Sure sounds like fun... you can't go wrong. I have used SP9000's in three applications (RWD,AWD,FWD) in 17" sizes and love the tires as a summer choice in New England. I have used the German variety SP9090 which has a higher silica content for better wet road handling (see Tire Rack, Eric @ 391). Your choice of 18" wheels is great if your road conditions are good and you are not planning to carry much cargo in your wagon. I use 225/45-17's on an 8" wide Borbet Type E wheel for my '02 Aero. The OZ is a great wheel - but cleaning the brake dust will be an exercise in frustration. I sold my OEM set of tires/wheels and have switched to EBC brake pads. Upon evaluation, I may put my snow tires on the Borbets and go with the OZ or BBS wheels for the summer.
Good Luck
Eric
