If the scratch is *not* thru the clearcoat then you might be able to remove it by hand with a good amount of elbow grease. There are a number of scratch removers on the market - most pro detailers I know use Meguiar's ScratchX available at WalMart and any auto parts store.
If the scratch is thru the clearcoat then perhaps a pro detailer can remove it by using a buffer/polisher. The process is to grind down the clearcoat on both sides of the scratch, effectively blending it in to the paint. It's the easiest and most effective method but does affect the life of the paint in that area.
Final solution is to take it to a top-quality body shop and let them fix it. Might be a simple job like filling in the scratch, color sanding, and buffing out - might be a difficult job like respraying the entire panel. ya won't know until they inspect and estimate repairs.
Best of luck. Oh, and stay away from those colored car waxes. Can't speak for what they sell overseas but the stuff they sell in the US is 100% junk. I've debunked that scam numerous times, last one in an auto parts store parking lot which pissed off the store manager.
