I'm convinced that my 2001 95 has a startup (from stop) performance problem with the transmission (or transmission controls). Over the 4K miles I've driven this car I've had 4 occurances of this problem and it seems that the car is attempting to start off in 2nd or 3rd gear. If I anticipate the need for extra starting power and put it in 'Sport' I don't have the problem. My prior post had a response from a Canadian Saab owner indicating that he had this problem and got it fixed by a computer reload at the dealership. Haven't had the time to discuss this with my dealership yet.
