ok, well, this is too much like a problem I'm having with my 40 year old benz.
on the way to the airport today, filled up the tank, halfway there, the gauge falls to 0 and the light comes on. the SID tells me 500 miles to empty.
the car is a 99 9-5, LPT, 5 sp, 2.3L. it's got 65K on it, and has run perfectly for the 10K miles I've had it. it had a new ecu around 45K...and it has been well serviced/maintained.
anyone care to guess, fuel sender or gauge, or a computer somewhere.
