It makes perfect sense; I can sit in front of the mall waiting for my wife with my parking lights on, even if the car isn't running. It's just that I've gotten used to leaving the switch in the ON position all the time, since they turn off with the car. Now if I drive around with my lights on in "stealth" mode (parking lights and fog lights only, no headlights), I run the risk of killing my battery.
Does anybody know if Saabs are smart enough to turn off the parking lights if the battery gets too low? I've given up on "stealth" mode because I just can't remember.
