zero lag, and perhaps better engine braking?

Search the BB for messages from Coolknight, he did a pretty thorough analysis of the Hyperboost vs Forge vs Stock. Basically he said that the Hyperboost and Forge are better than the stock BPV, but you should get the Hyperboost valve if you live in an area that gets cold weather.
I installed a Hyperboost BPV (takes 15 minutes) and it's fantastic! Driveability has been enhanced all around... overtaking maneuvers on the highway which previously required third gear can now be easily accomplished in fourth.
Basically, much better throttle response, zero lag, and I seem to be getting better engine braking too, I think. On the stock bypass valve I seemed to have ZERO engine braking at 80-90 mph (scary!), but now it seems to be improved.
Perhaps not coincidentally, my boost gauge seems to go more towards the left now (into vacuum) when the throttle is lifted and the car is in gear. It goes almost completely to the left now, whereas before, I think it only went about halfway into the "vacuum" portion of the gauge. How far left (into vacuum) do your turbo gauges go?
