Yes you can put snows on your nice alloy wheels, but you may hit some potholes during snow season and ding your wheels. Your OE alloys are 16", right? You might consider getting some 15" snows on steel wheels. Steel wheels are cheap. They will save you the trouble and cost of constantly having your tires mounted and remounted, in addition to saving wear & tear on your alloys. I love steel wheels and I use cheapo plastic hubcaps from Wal-Mart ($14.97/set of four).

Make sure that 15" steel wheels fit over your brakes! (Genrally only a problem on Aeros and Viggens)

Check out the Tire Rack. They will sell you snow tires mounted on steel wheels at a great price, and you can just bolt them on when you get them.
