Murphwiz, what tires are you running? All directional tires that I have used have cupped on the inside particularly on the rears. I have 104,800 miles on my 99 9-5SE. The original Michelin MXV4s wore well and even. I replaced them at 35,000 miles because they were bad in the monsoon rains in Florida. I then tried Firestone SZ50's (non EP). The went 12,000 miles before they were too noisy to use (rotated at 6,000 miles). Had them trued and got another 3,000 miles. Then used Dunlop W10's. The same thing all over again. Then put a pair of Dunlop Sport A2's on the rear and they did quite well. Got the balnce of the W-210's for the front. I tried a pair of Fulda Z rated on the rear when the other W10's were too bad to use because of uneven wear. These were directional and the same thing happened. I then decided to try Pep Boys Z rated tire (made by Cooper and nearly identical to their Z rated tire). I have them on all four wheels and am pretty impressed so far --- 10,000 on one set and 5,000 on the other. Will be rotating them next week so I will see how wear is doing. These are asymetrical so can be rotated side to side. All of my replacement tires have been 225-50-16 (plus 0). I use 36-38 lbs for normal driving.
