Hi,
Stock brake pads are made of tough stuff that will eat into rotors.
Some on this BB swear by EBC Greenstuff pads ("Why you little punk ...
I swear by my mother's grave, all that is holy and EBC Greenstuff pads ...

EBC Greenstuff pads are made of less durable stuff and are less likely
to damage your rotors. Also, the brake dust is not black so your front
wheels will not look so dirty.
Just search for "EBC" and posts by Dr. Eric Strauss.
