The clicking could be a variety of things... bad solenoid on the starter, bad alternator (not charging the battery sufficiently), bad ground, slow discharge on the battery (due to something poorly wired), or the battery itself. More often than not, it is the battery.. Most of the cheapo places (Sears, Pep Boys, etc) will test the charging system for little or no fee, and they can check to see if there is any type of draw on the battery with the car off...
however; the fact that you say this clicking occurs after the car is shut off sound very unusual.. it could be something unique to Saab due to its antitheft, ignition system.. In other words, you might want to go to the dealer for this one....
