To check how many keys are programmed, insert the key and start the car. With the car running, press the "trunk release" button on the remote. It should say something like "2 transponders, 2 remotes".
If you're in an OnStar market, make sure the dealer does the OnStar activation with you in the car (you get a free year of the basic OnStar plan, plus 30 free minutes of "personal calling", which is prepaid analog cellular)
After you bring the car home, be sure to read the owner's manual thoroughly; it explains a lot, like recalibration of the ACC system. I recommend all new owners do this for best operation of the ACC. Off the top of my head, I think you start recalibration by pressing OFF and AUTO simultaneously.
Someone wrote a nice compilation with all the "new 9-5 owner" message links in one post, we should combine this info into a 9-5 FAQ... anyone??
Have fun!!
