Child Car Seats in 9-5 Wagon. Help? - Long

I have tried this before but I still don't get it. I am trying to install a rear facing convertible car seat (Britax Roundabout) in my 2000 9-5 wagon. When I strap it down tight with the seat belt it is pushed too far forward so the child is 'tipping out' of the seat. I would think the solution would be to use the tether straps...but.
Where do the tether straps attach when using the seat rear facing. The owners manual shows them hooking to the bars behind the front seat. But then they would need adjustment every time you move the seat. Another thought would be to add an anchor where the seat bolts to the floor...has anyone done that?
I have the tether attachments behind the rear seat, but I believe they are when you use the child seat front facing.
If anyone could help I sure would appreciate it.
