Trionic T5/ 7 difference?

Just traded in my 99 9-3 for 03 linear SW. 9-5 SW has been one of those got to have cars since its debut. What a sweet car!
Anyway, since I'm new to T7, I would like to know how it works and specifically how the system differs from T5.
I had manual bleeder valve hooked up with APC on my 9-3, but I know from somewhere that it will not work with T7 cars. Just curious why and answers to above questions would help.
Now I'm on my journey to build a sleeper 'Lineaero', and would probably start with an upgraded ECU after breaking-in. Since I got AT, I would like to limit my max torque to 350Nm or so. I checked speedpart, maptun, etc. but none really advertises one specifically for 03 2.3 LPT w/ AT. Any suggestions?
Happy turkey day.
Kurt
