To add XM and get the true digital quality that it offers, you need to get the output signal from the XM tuner into the SAab radio without going through a tape cassete adaptor( Modulated signal), or any other method that degrades the audio signal, and as of right now, there has been no way to do this with the built in Saab audio systems.Several people have written about doing this through the systems CD changer input, but I cannot recall anyone writing and documenting how they did this. If the main reason you want XM is for the programing variety and lack of comercials, then this might be a moot point for you, but my personal opinion is that the CD quality without having to drag CDs to the car is just as important, so I'm waiting for SAab to figure it out.
