OK, here goes on the next round of door unlocking questions:

I just picked up my car at the dealership where they were supposed to set all of the doors to unlock when the key is removed. I checked to see if they had done it (as I've already tried to get this done on three separate occasions, at two different dealerships) and of course, it wasn't done. I got the tech to come over and take a look and he explained to me that "its normal" Fortunately, I had brought a hard copy of Brian's explanation from a few weeks ago about how this would be changed. This was enough to warrant the senior guy to come out toting the Tech2 computer. They hooked it all up and the three of us went through the menus trying to get it done. The only thing we could get was drivers door unlocking. I suggested that they leave the "auto unlock" option set to yes, and the number of times the remote has to be pressed to unlock the doors changed from the current setting of 2 to one- The way I figure it, is if the "auto unlock" program is set to "yes" then the TWICE computer sends a signal to the door locks which is equal to one press of the "unlock" button, if the button is set to unlock all of the doors with one press then they all open, if the button is set to to unlock only the driver's door with one press then only the driver's door opens. To make a long story marginally shorter, when the tech tried to switch the number of times you have to press the button to one- he said he couldn't access that menu because I had a European TWICE computer, and that the only way to change it to Canadian was to install a new computer. First, I think that new software can be installed on the TWICE, can't it?
And second- why can't Europeans unlock all of their doors with one button press? The tech said its so the Russian Mafia can't take your car as easy at a traffic light!

I'd like to have it set so my passengers can exit the car at the same time as me, but I'm starting to get worn down trying to accomplish this!
Does anyone know what the problem is or have an exact "step-by-step" menu pick list to get this done?

Thanks in advance

Brad
