I can't get it to lock with the button on the console, the "lock" button on the key, or even with the mechanical keyhole under the plastic cover on the tailgate.

My doors used to lock when I drove away...
Then I made the mistake of asking my dealer for some tech 2 changes. I had the locks set to lock when I drove away and unlock (driver's door only) when I took the key out. I also had the alarm chirp set to low (to avoid disturbing my neighbours). I wanted them to program it so that when I took the key out all of the doors would unlock. Now my lock chirp is set back to high, it doesn't lock when I drive away and if I should lock it manually while I'm driving, upon removal of the key only the driver's door unlocks! and to top it off I can't lock the tailgate at all anymore!

Perhaps this is another post, but I'm getting tired of half-assed work being performed at my dealer(s) I made a list of minor things which needed to be corrected and I've had the car in 6 times since I got it in May. Most of the things haven't been corrected yet. It's hard to have confidence in a dealer when you pick up your car and everything you've asked for is either the same (or WORSE) than it was when you took it in. Every time I go in they do a hack job on the required repair, and usually end up breaking several other things in the process (which, of course, they don't have the parts in stock to replace- another trip in is required!) For example- last time it was in they had to change the center rear seat belt retractor. The trim where the seat belt comes out of the top of the seat was already broken due to a botched repair at another dealership. They managed to replace the seat belt (which took 2 days, by the way) and proceeded to put the broken trim piece back on when they were done. In addition to that, now the seats are not assembled properly- when I try to fold down the 40% section alone, there's too much interference with the other side to allow it to move independently. And the little button which pops up to let you know the seat is unlatched doesn't go down anymore when the seat is latched in the upright position. The only other thing they had to do besides the tech 2 programming and the seat belt was to diagnose and repair an intermittent "check engine" light. Two days later- sure enough, the light's back on. That's three for three they didn't do right, plus now the back seats which were fine before I took it in are not working properly.

But I digress,
Sorry about the rant...

Brad
