I don't believe that. The card was IMHO the "door-opener" between the owner and dealership technician.

I am responding to "...another missed marketing opportunity" by SAAB in the original post and there have been attempts to include a bulletin with new car deliveries to offer the convenience and option selections. People who bought used SAABs may not have ever known this.

I agree that some dealers don't have the knowledge of Tech 2 at their fingertips. But the dealership prinicipal makes the decisions on SAAB USA training and OTJ training for his employees.

But all of this is not the dealer or SAAB USA. Owners telling dealer service people how to perform certain operations with the TECH 2, can become their own worst enemies.

Tom has to take some editorial "license" when he offers/writes a "Tech 2" post.

Secondly, options have varied by MY , creating additional difficulties in writing such a post. Lastly, this is a world BB--and many Tech 2 selections are for certain markets ONLY.

Quite a task, Tom. I applaud you for your suggestion, but I wonder about it, too.

I'll think I'll just take a "wait-and-see" approach to this posting by Tom Townsend. I'd be happy to render opinions if he would ask.

On the surface it sounds great to the BB. I see other things ahead.
