Thanks for the software procedure info. I printed it out and will hand deliver to the dealer. Unfortunately, there is only one dealer (two locations)in Atlanta and neither location is convienient. You would think the dealers in Atlanta would be good given that Saab-USA is right here. I should have gone with the stick. I was at Saab-USA HQ last spring on business and I ended up buying the exact model/color of the car they had in the lobby. As a long-time Saab owner (since '87) I get frustrated by service people who follow some kind of manual rather than comon sense. I'm telling you what I want, do it. I bought a new 1995 900 SE turbo and had a nighmare with it for two years until I brought it to Sovereign in Atlanta (thanks Bob). I had six trips to two dealers for a front-end vibration. Bob torqued the front suspension and all was good. I also had multiple complaints about the turbo boost only going half way through the yellow zone. Third gear, up hill, 101 octane gas - still no red zone. The service guy looks at me and say, "Does it feel slow?" "I don't know, you moron, compared to what?" Bob said I has a loose wire and found my missing 30hp. Seems the dealers want to play 'prove it.'
