Be careful when trying to swap in '02-'03 suspensions parts to earlier model years. Significant redesign was not just spring rates / dampening. I believe the OEM sway bars are a direct swap w/bushings, but am still trying to confirm '02 aero springs w/fit the earlier models for my own similar dilemma. I've heard it told both ways, and haven't been able to eyeball it myself.
Eibach springs w/be much stiffer and reduce roll significantly, and not be much lower than the aero is already. The '01 aero I drove w/eibach had firm but not unpleasant ride - about what I'm looking for. I'd already be there if I wasn't concerned about clearance. I'd try '02 sway bars, first. But you might want to really test drive an '02 and see if that w/be enough for you. I don't think they are as firm as Abbott, but they are about half the price.
