Think it's time to upgrade my Saab. My current 96 900 SET is a manual, and my fiance can't drive one, and if she did learn I'd be replacing clutches every 10000 miles.
So here is what I'm up against; late model Audi A-4, all the bells and whistles. I think it drives nice, and I really like the looks of the interior dash lighting (i know it's superficial, but I do drive a lot at night). I also drove a 1999 9-5SE, nice car but I don't understand why it doesn't have a turbo boost gauge. Also, the one I'm looking at is a 6 cylinder turbo, with plenty of punch. They have one identical to it, but 4 cylinder turbo, not sure which is a better engine or more powerful, but I assume the 6 banger is GM (timing belt), and the 4 banger is Swedish (timing chain).
Anyway, just thought I'd ask around for any opinions and things to look for when buying one of these used, also can my DI cassette off the 900 fit the 9-5? What about my K&N airfilter?
Thanks,
Tom
