Hands-free install: Triad vs. cutting off OnStar

I'm going to install a hands-free kit in my wife's 9-5. I'm debating whether to plunk down the $130 for the Triad, or just cut off OnStar. She has never once used OnStar in 6 months. To me it only seems useful in two situations: 1) locked out of the car, OnStar will remotely unlock the car or 2) airbags deploy, OnStar will call for help. I don't expect she will get locked out of the car. This used to be a regular occurance for her, but the remote entry seems to have fixed the problem. The second situation seems to be marginally useful. In a crash, it's likely that a passer-by will call 911 on their cell phone. If there are no passers-by, you're probably out of range for the OnStar's cell phone anyway.
Can anybody give me another reason to keep OnStar?
