I have a 1997 900S hatchback so I routed mine through the hatch opening. Another way to do it is through the front of the sunroof. I had also done this with a portable navigation system I borrowed at work. No drilling required. The only thing that happens is that the sunroof squeezes the wire against the seal. I didn't notice any resulting water or air leaks.
