I've noticed it:

* at low speeds; low gear (1st or 2nd)

* while turning

* while accelerating quickly

For example, while waiting at a traffic light to go left. When a "fast break" comes and I step on it to shoot through I definitely get a feeling that may be better descripbed as oversteer. That is, as I turn the wheel the car wants to turn more sharply than I have directed it.

The first time this happened it was a bit of a surprise. Now I am comfortable with it. I really shouldn't have been a surprise as every front wheel drive car I've ever driven has done this. Only, the 9-5 does it so little that I "forget" that it is front wheel drive.

I, for one, am quite impressed with how well Saab has tuned this car to avoid any inputs to the steering from the front drive wheels.
