Hi,

Thinner tires cut through snow and track much better. Also, 16" wheels
and tires are cheaper.

Some people get 17" wheels because they look better. Nokian has nice
17" snow tires.

However, you can save yourself some money and headaches related to
bent rims by getting yourself 16" snow tires which happen to track better
in the snow.

I don't think you can go all the way down to 15" wheels on an Aero,
though. Besides, if you put 15" wheels on 9-5, it will look like you put
Toyota Prius wheels on a Saab. :-)
