drove thru some not so perfect streets in my neighborhood
and noticed rattles on the back that seem to come from the parcel shelf.
have noticed some rattles before but never really paid attention.
but yesterday's was particularly loud to the point of being annoying.

rattles only happen when passing on uneven/unsmooth roads
like patches of asphalt, manhole covers, potholes, and the like,
and especially noticeable when only 1 side of the car
goes thru the unevenness - i.e. the right front wheel first,
followed by the rear.
bumps and humps that spread across the whole road width do not
elicit much rattle(s).

the trunk is empty and the toolbox and spare are all secured.
and highway ride is super smooth and quiet.

anyone have any suggestions where to start looking?
anyone with similar experiences?

car is 02 aero sedan with around 4300 miles.
