We drove both the 02 S60 & the 9-5. The Volvo was nice, but had a few things we disliked, most of which I no longer remember. I do remember, however, that the visibility out of the S60 was very poor, especially to the right rear, and we thought this was inconsistent with Volvo's reputation for safety. After driving the 9-5 Linear, however, we parked the car and looked for something we didn't like about it and couldn't find ANYTHING to dislike. The Volvo does have one feature I wish the SAAB had: When you activate the Volvo remote, it adjusts the driver's seat for the person assigned to that remote. After buying the 9-5, we have found 2 things to complain about: 1. The index in the owner's manual is poor. :) 2. The remote has a very short range. As you can see, these are not biggies and who looks in the owner's manual after the first few days? After 5K miles, we are still happy with our decision.
