The acc problem could be due to a sticking blend door. The fix for this is to drill a small hole in the door to allow air pressures to equalize so it can move in response to the commands from the computer. I agree with other comments re the idler pulley; if they don't replace it under warranty now, make sure the problem is documented in the dealer's computer so that when it lets go at 52K or so, you'll have a record to back up your claim. As far as the guys at the service desk go, be polite but firm and realize that you probably know a lot more about your car than they do (techs are a different matter, but they don't usually let you talk to them).
