Hey guys...
Thanks for all the input. I stopped in a a body shop highly recommended by Saab of Westchester today...and got bad news:
He estimated the damage to be about $2500 up front and $4500 in the rear.
My A/C condenser is cracked; all the R34 leaked out. And the body part of the car behind the bumper got pushed in like 2-3" so he recommended pulling that back out. New trunk lid ($825), new tailight assemblies ($165), those plastic panels under tailights ($150 each), bumper covers ($495 back, $1100 front), a fog light ($165), and other crap brought the estimate to be way too much for me to consider paying myself. :(
He felt as thought I'd never find salvaged parts as the car was too new, and was indifferent about the fact I was willing to pay cash. So I'm going to take your recommendations and give a call to some other body shops.
Thanks for the postings...
I'll keep you guys informed.
