At the 30 check-up, they do very little - if they do it right, they follow the check-list on the back of the first coupon in your warranty book. Also anything you notice that's not right.
The programming is free. I took the ddor lock feature - My wife immediately hated it, and it still annoys her. It locks all doors when you first accelerate, then unlocks just the drivers door when you remove the key. Supposed to guard aginst car-jackers (along with the bullet-proof glass). If you stop for your passenger to hop out with the ignition on, the passenger has to reach back to pull up the button, or someone has to push the little rocker switch on the ignition console to unlock the doors. Irritating.
There's a list of programmable changes toward the end of the owner's manual. Things like chirps and time to automatically set alarm. There are many undocumented changes, which I don't know. You may not have time to figure out what you like in time for the 30 day, and you should ask them to commit to a no-charge follow-up if that's the case. (The change at the 30 day is free, as specified on the coupon, but my dealer does them free all the time).
If you live where there is snow, and you have an aero, watch out for the Primacies, they are strictly summer tires. If not, even the all weather tires won't do as well as 4 wheel snows, which are great. The tire-wheel package at about $860 for 4 is a real deal.
