The procedures are very similar between manufacturers. With respect to the pads, the bonding resins must be burned off relatively slowly to avoid both fade and uneven deposits. The procedure is several stops of increasing severity with a brief cooling period between them. After the last stop, the system should be allowed to cool to ambient temperature.

Kelvar is just another organic binder. If you can't understand whats being said if it does not say the magic kelvar word, I don't know what to tell you.
If you don't get the brakes hot under controlled conditions, then you will have the brakes get hot in an emgency situation where you may get uneven material transfer to the rotors. So that is the issue. And there is no harm is fitting new pads and doing a pad bed-in - burn-in right away. And by doing this you will get decent braking effort restored before you get into an unpredicable traffic situation. Then you might not be able to stop fast enought in town, or on the highway, with the first high heat event you will also get pad gas float brake fade as you get your first burn-off.
If you can't understand these things, follow whatever your are comfortable with. Don't slam everything that you read that you don't understand. Perhaps there is more to an issue than what the supplier tells you.
