That's exactly where my 9-5 leaked oil, and it kept getting worse. The dealer's service mgr told me the repair involved "pulling the engine", but after the repair found no visible top view indications that engine had been removed.
Question you may be able to answer - when this repair is performed, would the oil and antifreeze be replaced ? The service tech told me yes, but did not seem all that sure. I had the work done at 48k miles. When I did the 60k service, I left the antifreeze alone assuming it had been changed at the time of leak repair. It took the dealer over a week to fix this leak, along with a number of other warranty repairs, like CV boots coming apart at their joining seams.
