No big difference in reliability, IMHO... Posted by Sarunas [Email] (#804) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Sarunas) on Tue, 11 Mar 2003 03:44:32 In Reply to: Re: thinking about a 95, VOLVO 850, Mon, 10 Mar 2003 16:12:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
As a user of both Saab 9^5 '98 and Volvo 850GLT '96 I wouldn't say I see a huge difference in reliability between the two brands. There are differences in, e.g., ergonomics, the way you drive them, the carisma etc., and that's why I love Saab more. But as far as reliability, no car is 100% safe. Even if Saab has a better record in the latter, the probability still doesn't mean much if you have one or two cars (it would mean something if you would deal with a 100 or so).
In a few words, don't expect Saab to save you from 'the constant fear' of something failing. Unless it has a warranty.

P.S. Mind your Caps Lock. It makes a lot of noise when left ON :)
